This is a wine of great intensity, with voluptuous fruit flavours of blackberries, black cherries and plums, combined with complex aromas and flavours from the spices, making it a perfect "night in Salento". Negroamaro is a tannic grape variety, but the tannins are not "hard" and the fruitiness is generous, making this a wine that even those who do not like austere wines can enjoy. It is a perfect match for meat dishes, bulgogi and other dishes with sweet and spicy sauce.

Taste characteristics |
Despite the high acidity, tannins, fruitiness and alcohol, the mouthfeel is balanced, without any one aspect being overwhelming. The palate is rich and deep, with good potential for further cellaring, given the potential of the grapes. |
Food Recommendations |
Red meat dishes (steak, etc.), bulgogi (the sweet and spicy sauce goes well with the heavy fruitiness). |
